Chiang Rai: flights, buses and the two bus terminals

Chiang Rai has no railway. Arrive by air at Mae Fah Luang–Chiang Rai International Airport (CEI) or by Greenbus from Chiang Mai, 3 to 4 hours. From the airport, AOT lists a flat 150 THB taxi to anywhere in Chiang Rai city from Entrance 3. The city has two bus terminals, Terminal 1 and Terminal 2, and some Chiang Mai buses use each, so check yours.
