Raja Ferry lists a Donsak to Thong Sala crossing of about 2 hr 30 min for 290 THB, with an example sailing at 05:00 in its timetable, and also carries vehicles.
From Surat Thani Airport, combined tickets were sold online for November 2026: bus and ferry from 640 THB, about 4 hr 30 min, with eight departures from 09:00, and Lomprayah's package from 1,003 THB, about 3 hr 15 min. These include the road leg to the pier, so compare them with a boat-only fare plus your own transfer.
Haad Rin and Full Moon nights
Seatran lists Haad Rin Queen Pier among its Koh Phangan stops and sells Full Moon Party speedboats. No timetable for those boats was published for the dates checked. If you are staying in Haad Rin, either confirm a boat to Haad Rin Queen Pier for your date or plan the road transfer from Thong Sala.
Luggage and check-in
Lomprayah asks passengers to check in at least 60 minutes before departure. Each passenger may bring large luggage up to 20 kg, with a 200 THB charge for excess weight. Its tickets are non-refundable, schedules can change with the weather, and missed onward transport is not reimbursed. Leave a margin before a flight from Samui or a mainland train.
Getting around the island
