The Ao Nang Princess lands at Ao Nang and Railay, so it saves a transfer if you are staying there. The van is cheaper, leaves through the day and suits Krabi Town and onward buses from Krabi Bus Terminal.
Phuket to Krabi ferry from Rassada Pier
Ao Nang Travel's Ao Nang Princess leaves Rassada Pier, where the operator lists its counter as number 7. It sails to Nopparat Thara Pier for Ao Nang and to the floating pier at Railay East. For November 2026 it was sold online at 850 THB per adult and took about 1 hr 45 min to 2 hr 15 min.
Check the departure time for your date. The operator's notice moved the Phuket departure from 08:30 to 10:30 from 21 August 2026, but the dates checked in November were sold at 10:30 on one day and 13:30 on another. Its calendar also shows days without sailings.

Phuket to Krabi by bus or minivan
For November 2026, 438 Phuket Krabi Transport minivans left Phuket Bus Terminal 1 19 times a day from 06:40, for 275 THB, to Krabi Bus Terminal in about 3 hours. Some vans end at Ao Luek instead, so check the destination.
Full-size buses use Phuket Bus Terminal 2. K and P Travel sold departures from 06:30 for 360 THB to its own Krabi office, and Minibus 1996 from 385 THB to Krabi Bus Terminal. Because vans and buses leave different terminals, confirm which one your ticket names before you set off.

Speedboats
The speedboats sold on this route did not use Rassada Pier. On the dates checked, Green Planet sold speedboats from Railay East to Laem Hin Pier and Bangrong Pier in Phuket for 1,000 THB, about 2 hours. Those Phuket piers are a different starting point from Rassada, so arrange your transfer to the right one.
Krabi back to Phuket
The return ferry leaves Nopparat Thara Pier at 10:30 and the Railay East floating pier at 10:45 on the dates checked, both reaching Rassada Pier at 13:00 for 850 THB. PP Cabana Express left Krabi River Marina at 09:30.
